Sage Rivera

Sage Rivera, who uses the pronouns they/them, identifies as a Two-Spirited person. They are an accredited community organizer, advocate, artist, producer, choreographer, director, and entertainer. Sage has helped create and implement programs in various organizations in New York City and beyond, making significant contributions to uplifting people whose stories are often overlooked.

Being of Boricua, Quisqueyano, and Azorean descent and having grown up in some of New York City's most impoverished areas, Sage has worked tirelessly to empower marginalized people. They have been blessed to work in film and television, starting their career as the Creative Director of Vogue Evolution, America’s premier Vogue dance company showcased on MTV. As an individual performer, they have been featured on America's Next Top Model, RuPaul's Drag Race, and in the music videos "Home" by recording artist Morgxn and "Salao" by recording artist La insuperable. Most recently, they appeared on Ryan Murphy's hit series "POSE" on the FX channel.

As a filmmaker, Sage completed the Integrated Media Program at Hunter College with honors. They draw inspiration from legendary directors such as Bob Fosse, Julie Taymor, Karan Johar, and David Fincher. In the future, they hope to create an array of works through their own production company, Concepscion Productions.
